From Gabriel to Lucifer – A Cultural History of Angels

On the cover of this book, Melvyn Bragg (no less) proclaims that this is a ‘terrific read’ - and at one level it is, offering an engaging study of the place of angels in different faiths, cultures and traditions. Potential readers should be aware that the author has strong links to The School of Economic Science in London and the Lucca Leadership Trust, both of whose ‘New Age’ credentials are well known. A better place to go for a much better study would be ‘Angels: Ancient Whispers of Another world’ by Andy Angel(sic), Vice Principal of St John’s Nottingham.
