About Ministry Today UK

Ministry Today UK is a unique resource in that it provides a cross-denominational network for ministers and church leaders interested in:

  • Exploring the new challenges of mission
  • Sharpening their ministry skills
  • Gaining new insights into pastoral care
  • Reflecting on the practice of ministry
  • Growing as a person
  • Developing as a professional

We publish three times a year a journal called Ministry Today UK and members receive a printed copy of this. Written mainly by working ministers for working ministers. All except the last three issues are available on line (details on website news page).

We hold an annual 20 hour 2 day conference at Pleshey, an Anglican retreat house set in the Essex countryside.

We offer consultations to groups of ministers and local churches. A limited consultancy service to individual ministers is also available.

Membership fees:

  • £20.00 per year if living in GB and paying by BACS transfer or standing order (auto renewal). £30.00 Europe and £40.00 elsewhere.
  • £10.00 per year retired ministers paying by BACS or standing order (auto renewal).
  • £10.00 per year for student ministers, probationer ministers and curates during training paying by BACS.
  • £30.00 per year or £50.00 per two years if paying by cheque.
  • £15.00 per year or £30.00 for two years for retired ministers if paying by cheque

Membership fees, which run from July 1st each year, go towards supporting a website which generously makes the resource available to those who might struggle to afford the normal subscription. In joining Ministry Today UK you will therefore not only receive but also be giving to fellow leaders and workers.

Forms and contact details on Subscription page.
